New student registration at GRHS can be done electronically or in person. Please follow the steps below to complete the process.
Step 1: Verify that your address is zoned to George Ranch HS by entering it here: Address Verification
Step 2: New Student Enrollment Application
If you are brand new to LCISD, meaning you've never had a student enrolled in any LCISD school, complete the bullet-pointed steps below.
- Create an LCISD skyward account using this link: Create Account
- Complete the new student enrollment application using the email sent to you from the previous step.
If you've had any students enrolled in LCISD in the past, you should already have a skyward account set up with us. To complete the New Student Enrollment Application for an additional student, new to LCISD, please log in to your skyward account and click on add student.
Step 3 - (Electronic): Submit all required documents listed below to Vivian Rodriguez. The process will then be completed over email through our office.
Scanned/PDF copies preferred. (If you do not have access to a scanner, there are many free scanner apps available for smartphones. Examples of free scanner app options: Notes App for Apple, Genius Scan for both Apple and Android)
Step 3 - (In Person): Come to GRHS during regular business hours and tell the front desk you are here to register. Be sure to bring all required documents with you. Failure to bring all documentation may result in delayed registration for your student.
Required Documents:
- birth certificate
- Parent's photo identification
- proof of residency (utility bill, lease)
- school records
Note on School Records:
Once enrolled we will request official records from the previous school. These records could take weeks (sometimes months!) to get, so we need you to bring a transcript, report card, or something else showing coursework to help us get your student in the correct classes. Failure to bring school records may result in your student sitting in the wrong classes for however long it takes to receive their official records. If you do not have records, please call your previous school and request a copy of the student's transcript or report card. (Do not let them tell you no! You have rights to your student's records!)
