Lamar CISD has been working diligently with the College Board to ensure the availability of materials for the SAT School Day administration scheduled for Wednesday, March 3. Due to production and shipping delays from February’s winter storm, the College Board is unable to guarantee the delivery and availability of all required testing materials to our high school campuses. Therefore, the District has made the decision to postpone the SAT School Day and reschedule for Tuesday, April 13, 2021 so that all of our 11th grade students have the opportunity to take this exam.
The virtual students that did not sign up will have until March 10, 2021
to sign up for the April 13, 2021 administration. Those virtual students that ALREADY signed up for the March 3, 2021 administration are ALREADY on the April 13, 2021 administration and do not need to reregister for the April 13 test.
We encourage all our students to take advantage of this delay, to study extra for the test. Students can log into their
www.khanacademy.org account to do practice testing and quizzes as well as get valuable tutorials customized just for their needs.
