The Lamar CISD School Board has called for a $445.4 million bond election on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Lamar CISD is one of the fastest growing school districts in Texas. Over the last decade the District has added over 10,000 students—with another 11,000 to 23,000 projected to arrive over the next 10 years. Lamar CISD currently uses 152 portable classrooms around the District to address the increasing number of students.
