George Ranch senior Andrew Phillips was recently accepted into the National Technology Student Association (TSA) Technology Honor Society. TSA is a national student organization created to develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) as well as business education. The TSA Technology Honor Society recognizes TSA members who excel in academics, leadership and service to their school and community. Around ten students are selected yearly from each state and those selected must meet numerous requirements to be accepted into the honor society.

Typically, new honor society inductees are honored at the national TSA conference each year. Due to COVID-19, this year’s conference was canceled. However, Andrew received a socially distanced, recognition ceremony from George Ranch principal Heather Patterson and the George Ranch TSA advisors, Rachelle Ferguson and Emily Gresham.
