Students travel from country to country at Leaman Junior High's diversity fair. Recently, Leaman Junior High School's ELL department hosted “Talk to Me to Know Me” for their students, parents and the community. Many of the international students prepared presentations about their home countries, prepared traditional foods of their countries and even dressed in traditional attire as they participated in the two day event. Reading classes are invited to explore the fair and use a “passport” to learn more about specific countries. With over 30 countries represented, this event is an exciting way to celebrate diversity on campus!
