Lamar CISD’s Community Relations Department earned 13 Star Awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association’s annual conference in Frisco.
The department garnered six Gold Star Awards and the Best of Category Award for Calendar/Planner.
Lamar CISD competes in the “Large School District” category, which includes all districts with more than 30,000 students.
The Gold Stars were for Newsletter, Calendar/Planner, Handbook/Manual, Holiday Card, Non-English Speaking Audience and Brochure.
The team earned five Silver Stars, including Program, Video Feature Story, Video Promotional, Video Marketing and Video General Interest.
The Community Relations Department also earned a Bronze Star in the Video News/Information category.
