Chimoma Orakwue Chelsea Kalkomey
Chimoma Orakwue is the Valedictorian for the Class of 2017 at Lamar Consolidated High School. She is the daughter of Alexander and Maryrose Orakwue.
While at Lamar Consolidated, she was active in Interact Service Club, the National Honor Society, the Criminal Justice Association, Student Council, the National Technical Society, UIL and Leadership High School.
She will attend the University of North Texas and study business.
Chelsea Kalkomey is the Salutatorian for the Class of 2017 at Lamar Consolidated High School. She is the daughter of Chris and Martha Kalkomey.
While at Lamar Consolidated, Chelsea was in the Mustang Band, played volleyball, took a mission trip to Africa and competed in UIL Science.
She will attend the University of Texas at Dallas, studying biology. She plans to go to medical school.
Graduation exercises for the Lamar Consolidated High School Class of 2017 will be May 27 at 2:30 p.m. in the Merrell Center, 6301 S. Stadium Lane in Katy.
