The Fort Bend Retired Educators Association recently distributed books to Kindergartners and 1st graders at Smith Elementary.
The visit was part of the Texas Retired Teacher Association's (TRTA) Children's Book Project, with the goal of giving books to students. Each child received a book and had their name written on the book plate, showing ownership of their "new treasure".
