Dear Parents:
As we have heard on the news and on various social media sites, the FLU season is among us. This is a respiratory illness that can cause various symptoms. Attached is a PowerPoint presentation about the FLU and what the CDC recommends. LCISD and Austin Elementary practice the CDC recommendations. If you or your child have symptoms of the FLU or a fever of 100.0 or greater, please take care, take the time, and get better. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact me or your physician.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Sutherland, RN- BSN
