This Saturday is our annual Fall Festival. It will be going on from 11:00 to 3:00 at the school. There will be many activities for the children as well as many vendors for adults to check out. The Silent Auction will have a number of great baskets, packages, and staff experiences ready to go to the highest bidder. This is our biggest fund-raiser of the year and the students really enjoy being a part of this event. We look forward to seeing many of our families participating. The weather might not cooperate fully, but we will have activities indoors if needed - hope to see you all here!
Next week is Red Ribbon Week! Ms. Becker, our counselor, has many special dress days planned for the week. The week’s purpose is to highlight drug-free awareness. The schedule for the week should be included in this week’s Astronotes.
This Thursday, October 19th, is our Pink Out Day in recognition of breast cancer awareness. All staff and students are encouraged to wear something pink. Then, this Friday, October 20th is Down Syndrome Awareness Day. We will recognize this day by wearing blue and yellow. Thanks for your support for all these designated days.
