This Friday night is Austin Elementary Night at the Lamar High School football game against Terry High School. Coach LaFavers, Lamar’s head coach, would like to dedicate a varsity football game to schools in the Blue Track that will be attending Lamar High School. Various games will be designated as special nights for specific elementary, middle, and junior high schools feeding into the blue track. Austin, Beasley, Long, and Smith student’s special night is this Friday, September 30, 2016 at Traylor Stadium. We will be sitting on the visitor’s side as Terry is the home team. Tickets to the game will be sold in the front office at school this week up until Thursday afternoon. Student tickets are $4 and adults $6. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate for $8. We hope to see many of our students in attendance for this special game also known as “The Battle of the Berg” as in Rosenberg.
Progress reports for the first nine weeks should be going out this Thursday, September 29th. If you have any questions or concerns please contact your student’s teacher to discuss them.
