The Briscoe Eagles 8th B team defeated George Jr. High by a score of 13-7. Leading the Eagles on offense was Michael Marino who threw a 10 yard touchdown pass to Garrett Taysom and KJ Johnson who scored on the extra point. Michael Marino also scored on a 44 yard touchdown run. Other offensive leaders for the Eagles were Aiden DeVilliers, Matthew Bone, Brody McLemore, Chase Tomasino, and Dawson Bucek. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Brody McLemore, Ethan Williamson, Ruben Rojas who had an interception, and Zach Williams. The Eagles improve to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in district play.
The Briscoe Eagles 8th grade A team lost to George Jr. High Tuesday night by a score of 18-20. Offensive leaders for the Eagles were Chip Barillas who scored on a 5 yard touchdown run and Cort Adams who scored on two 20 yard touchdown runs. Defensive leaders for the Eagles were Hunter Schultz, Koleman Hardin, Gio Juarez who had an interception, and Logan Duers who had an interception. Other defensive leaders for the Eagles were Robert Harbor and Cort Adams. The Eagles fall to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in district play.
The 7B Briscoe Eagles lost to George 14-19. Scoring for the Eagles were Dasoni Frasier with a 65 yard touchdown run. Frazier also scored the extra point. Carter Wilson intercepted a pass and took it for a 45 yard touchdown. Sedrick Cole was good for the extra point. Christopher Webb had an interception for the Eagle defense. Other defensive players of the game were Reid Martinez, Brahn Howard, Dalton Plunkett, and Jalen Ross. The 7B Eagles move to 1-1-1 overall and 1-1 in district.
The Briscoe Eagles 7th A team defeated George JH Gators 12-6. Scoring for the Eagles was Mario Simmons on a 30 yard touchdown run and a 75 yard touchdown pass from Ryan Stubblefield. Other offensive players of the game were Jorrin Thompson (catching several passes), Jayden Oliver, Collin Wix, Marcello Spano, and Jacob Perry. Defensive players of the game were Eric Self, Jake Bury, Chidozie Nwankwo, Marcus Mehaffey, and Jonathan Davidson. The Eagles 7th A team moves to 4-0 on the season and 3-0 in district.
